Transitive verbs are action words. They often represent direct actions or events that take place on something.
For example,
I like beans.

If it's transitive it will have an object; that is, there will be a noun following the verb which connects to and completes the meaning of the verb. A transitive verb is a verb that has to do something to something else; it has to act upon something, or create something, or have some effect on something. An intransitive verb does not need anything else to complete its meaning in a sentence. action words action verbs don't require direct object, but can add one with e ijo, e jan etc. if need clarity

e-verbs action words = nimi pali = transitive verb, e-verbs
can take e, tawa, both or neither
tawa object e object zero object
e object = undergoes the action
intransitive = taking one argument = the subject
transitive = taking 2+ arguments = the subject and at least one object
object is marked using a preposition like e, tawa, etc.
